SOITEC LAB

Soitec Lab, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Soitec launched in 2020, is an entity that leads Soitec's research and development activities at the CEA-Leti site in Grenoble.

Soitec Lab aims to meet the evolving challenges of new product development through collaboration with Leti and future collaborations with other external partners.

As a spin-off from CEA-Leti, Soitec has maintained close ties with this research institute, particularly in the context of the development of the Smart-Cut™ technology and its application in the design and manufacture of new substrates. In 2017, the two partners crystallized this historic collaboration through a five-year contract. In July 2018, Soitec and CEA-Leti also announced the creation of a joint development platform, the Substrate Innovation Center, within Leti's facilities.

The new entity, Soitec Lab, brings together all Soitec employees working mainly at Leti.
